Rising star DjKiRA's passion for EDM, and all it's many genre's, stems from over 15 years in dance music, as both clubber and dj, working on a 'if I like it, I play it' basis. That said, his main style leans toward the realms of Progressive House and Progressive Breaks, with 'edge'. His sets are mixed on multiple platforms, and as you will find from listening there is a great love of the early days of electronica, and he can't resist bringing a rare classic or two in to most of his sets - much to the pleasure of his listeners, and the dancefloor. His main influence's in electronic music come from many weekends spent at Bristol's 'Lakota' nightclub. He says "They were the best nights (music and atmosphere wise) that anyone could have experienced in that period of dance club history!" As well as djing, DjKiRA has recently made the next step, and has 3 official collaborative releases on the horizon, including one featuring the angelic vocal talents of Rachel Lamb - watch this space!
